More than
a club.

We're a community of students united by a shared passion for technology, learning, and building real-world skills, together.

What drives us

To provide an inclusive, hands-on community where students of every skill level can learn in-demand technologies, earn certifications, and build real projects together.

The Microsoft Learn at UNCC Team
Hands-on Learning 20+
Learning happens by doing. Workshops and labs walk through real tools like Azure, GitHub, .NET, and AI, so members leave each session having built something.
Certifications 10+
We run guided study groups for credentials like Azure Fundamentals and AI-900, share exam vouchers when we can, and keep each other accountable to test day.
Community 200+
From hack nights to project teams, we connect students who might never have crossed paths. Beginners and experts build side by side.
Career Growth 2026
The skills and projects you build here go straight on your resume: portfolios, interview prep, and connections with alumni and recruiters.

How a semester works

Join any time. Every semester follows the same rhythm: show up, build, and leave with something real.

01
Kickoff Meeting
Meet the team, pick your tracks, and grab pizza. No experience or commitment required.
02
Workshops & Labs
Biweekly hands-on sessions across Azure, GitHub, .NET, and AI. Bring a laptop, leave with it deployed.
03
Build & Certify
Join a project team or a cert study jam. Ship something for your portfolio or pass your first exam.
04
Demo Day
End the semester showing what you built to the club, mentors, and recruiters in the room.

Niner values,
builder mindset

Everyone builds
No gatekeeping. Whether it's your first line of code or your hundredth deploy, you build with us from day one.
Show, don't tell
Slides are fine, but shipped projects are better. Everything we teach ends in something you can demo.
Lift as you climb
Members who learn a skill teach it next. That's how a club becomes a community.

Ready to startbuilding?

Whether you're writing your first line of code or shipping your tenth project, there's a place for you.
